In this problem

the vertex is given ------> (40/2,12)-------> (20,12)

The first intercept is (0,0)

therefore

second intercept is

x-intercept=20+20=40

(40,0) is the coordinates of the second x-intercept

(the vertex is the midpoint between the first and second x-intercept)
