Stereotyping refers to places people in categories based on assumptions of who they are by looks or other small information you know about a person. Stereotyping is so easy to do, that often times people don't even know they are doing that. Because it can happen so quickly, if we start to generalize somthing, there is a good chance we will believe something to be that isn't actually there.
