A table is 3 feet and 2 inches wide, and a chair is 25 inches wide. How much wider is the table than the chair?

A table is 3 feet and 2 inches wide
= 3(12) + 2 = 38 inches wide

a chair is 25 inches wide

38 - 25 = 13 inches

answer: table is 13 inches
