y = 3sin(2x+pi)

Explanation:

We know that a is equal to 3 because the distance from 3 to the midpoint 0 is 3

We also know that is a phase shift of pi/2 as that is where the new start of our sine function lands

We know there is a compression of 2 as our period has changed from 2pi to pi

So naturally we change pi/2 to pi since we put the 2 inside the parenthesis
