Divide each original dimension by 4 and then multiply by 3, as following:


\begin{gathered} (8ft)/(4)\cdot3=6ft \\ \\ (4ft)/(4)\cdot3=3ft \end{gathered}

The smaller garden has a length of 6 ft and a widht of 3 ft
