The formula for finding the volume of a cone is V = 1 3 πr2h. The volume of a cone is 300 cm3 and the height of the cone is 10 cm. What is the approximate radius of the cone?

make it easier and solve for radius
V=(1/3)hpir²
times both sides by 3/1
3V=hpir²
divide both sides by hpi

(3V)/(h \pi ) =r^2
sqrt both sides

\sqrt{(3V)/(h \pi )}=r

so
v=300
h=10
subsitute

\sqrt{(3(300))/(10 \pi )}=r

\sqrt{(900)/(10 \pi )}=r

\sqrt{(90)/(\pi )}=r

(√(90))/(√(\pi) )=r
use calculator
about 5.35257cm=radius
