 =14x^2-12x    =2x(7x-6)

Explanation:


14x^2-12x, to find out common factor we write the factors of each term


14x^2 ---> 7 \cdot 2 \cdot x \cdot x


12x ---> 3 \cdot 2 \cdot 2 \cdot x

Common for both is 2 and x

So common factor is 2x

When we take out 2x in common then write the remaining terms inside the parenthesis


2x(7x-6)
