Answer: A. SAS postulate or SSS postulate

Explanation:

  • LL theorem tells that if the legs of one right triangle are congruent to the legs of second right triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
  1. If legs of a right triangle are congruent to the legs of another right triangle, then by SAS postulate they are are equal.(as legs are sides of triangle with right angle as included angle )
  2. If legs of a right triangle are congruent to the legs of another right triangle, then by Pythagoras theorem of right triangles their hypotenuses or the longest sides must be congruent, ∴ triangles are congruent by SSS postulate .

Therefore, LL theorem is a special case of the SAS postulate or SSS postulate.
