weight of body = 35 lbs
F = ma
m = F/a = 35/32 ( acceleration = 32 ft/s^2)
m= 1.09

so again using same formula,
a = F/m
a= 6/1.09
a= 5.489

or say, acceleration = 5.5 ft/s^2 !!

Answer:

The acceleration of the object is 5.5 ft/s².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Force = 6 lbs

Weight = 35 lbs

We need to calculate the mass

Using newton's second law

F = mg

m =(F)/(g)

Put the value into the formula

m= (35)/(32.2)

m=1.09\ lb

We need to calculate the acceleration

Using newton's second law

F = ma

Put the value into the formula

a =(6)/(1.09)

a=5.5\ ft/s^2

Hence, The acceleration of the object is 5.5 ft/s².
