The radius is 8 because circumference is equal to pi times the diameter and since the diameter is 16, then the radius is 8

The circumference, perimeter or length of a circle is:
L = 2*pi*r (r=radius)
Replace L=16pi into the formula and solve for r:
16pi = 2*pi*r
r= (16pi)/(2pi) = 16/2 = 8
The radius is 8
