How is air found in soils different from the air in the atomsphere?

The air that is found in soil is extremely different from the air that is found in the atmosphere. Why, you ask? Well, it's because the air that are in soils are not exactly exposed to moving air currents, thus the air that is found in soils are more moist and humid.
