City workers are using a snowplow to clear a street. A tire on the snowplow is 3.2ft in diameter and has to turn 26 times in traveling the length of the street. How long is the street? Use the value 3.14 for π. Round your answer to the nearest tenth. Do not round any intermediate steps.

The total distance of the street is the number of times the wheel turns multiplied by its circumference. Thus:
C = πD
L = nπD
L = 26 x 3.14 x 3.2
L = 261.2 ft
