How do you get 0.80 from 4/5?

You can multiply top and bottom by 20

4*20 = 80
5*20 = 100

4/5 = 80/100 = 0.80

Think of it like a percentage

Or you can use long division to place the '4' inside the division bar and have 5 outside. The part on top will be 0.8
