What is this answer I don't get it guys help me out
5(x+5)=65

5(x+5)=65
5x+25=65
-25 -25
5x=40
x=8

5(x+5)=65
5x+25=65
you subtract 25 from both sides.
5x+25-25=65-25
5x=40
you also divide both sides by 5
5x/5=40/5

x=8
