Trig.

Solve for x to the nearest degree
X degrees inside, near top.
16 on the top
9 on the side

^ I forgot the names for them in SOHCATOA or whatever.
Can someone help me? Im stuck on how exactly I find the degrees! I need urgent help on this, i get how to do it so far but the degrees is what gets me. I've looked on a lot of sites and i still dont know how to solve it...

I assume that we are dealing with a right triangle and that 16 is the hypotenuse and 9 is one of the sides, the adjacent side to be exact. To correct the mnemonics, that should be SOH - CAH - TOA
We solve the problem by using the CAH,
cosine x = adjacent / hypotenuse = 9 / 16
The value of x is equal to 55.77° or 56°.
