2(x – 4) = 6x + 8 does anyone know the answer?

Simple...

you have: 2(x-4)=6x+8

You must isolate the variable x-->>>

2(x-4)=6x+8

2x-8=6x+8

Now it's a simple math problem-->>

2x-8=6x+8
-2x -2x

-8=4x+8

-8=4x+8
-8 -8

-16=4x

-4=x

Thus, your answer.
