We will use the Pythagorean theorem:
c² = a² + b²
b² = c² - a²
x² = 20² - 12²
x² = 400 - 144
x² = 256
x = √256
x = 16
The pole B : 16 m + 5 m = 21 m
Answer: C ) 21 m
