NEED HELP! SUPER HARD!!! Lewis County, Washington, has a guideline that new roads should not exceed a 15% grade, or a 15 foot rise over a horizontal distance of 100 feet. A proposed roadway rises 41 feet over 254 feet horizontally. Find the grade of the proposed roadway. Does it meet the county's guideline?

Just for fyi, slope is equal to rise over run.
To calculate this problem, divide the smaller number by the larger to get the grade or slope.
I.E. 15/100= .15 = 15%
41/254 = .16 = 16% NOPE, it doesnt meet county guidelines
