Molarity = moles of solute
----------------------------------
volume of the solution

Moles of HCl = weight of HCl
----------------------------
molar mass of HCl

= 14
------
36.46

= 0.38 moles.

Therefore molarity = 0.38
--------
1.5
= 0.253M.

Hope this helps!!

Answer: The molarity of the solution is 0.2557 M.

Step-by-step explanation:

Mass of the HCl contained by the solution = 14 g

Volume of the solution = 1.50 L

Molarity =
\frac{\text{Mass of the compound}}{\text{Molar mass of the compound}* \text{Volume of the solution in L}}

M=(14 g)/(36.5 g/mol* 1.50 L)=0.2557 M

The molarity of the solution is 0.2557 M.
