Which describes a major advantage of steamboats over other vessels?

A. They could float in shallower water than a canal boat.
B. They had a very good safety record.
C. They allowed for travel against a river's current.
D. They required less fuel than a sailing ship.

Would it be C??

I see where you could get the answer C from and it does make the most since but it does not specify what kind of vessel.. Kinda tricky but i think you are correct with the answer C
