Adolf Hitler was a Dictator, who wanted to remove all the Jews and people who were different, from Germany. He believed that people with mental or physical disabilities were not really people, along with Jews, gays, and even people who refused to work. He tried killing them off with gas chambers, Concentration camps, and even just shooting them. I read a fictional story about a family in the Holocaust a few years ago that gave a really good point of view, and a good way to picture what it was like. The main character's family was taken from their home, and almost separated as they were being put on train cars, but their mother bribed a soldier, and they got to stay together, but they were still shoved on a train car, to be sent to work to death at a concentration camp. Before the train left, a woman in a hospital gown was thrown on the car with them, along with a brand-new baby. Sadly, the baby didn't last the whole trip there, and the woman sat in the train car for days, crying, and rocking her dead child. The body began to smell, and the people around her made her throw it down the toilet hole, and the smell left, along with the baby. These people were brutally killed, and mistreated. It was a very sad time for these poor people, who never did anything wrong.
Hope this helps,
