During a School Assembly, 16 out of 60 students wore orange shirts. What percentage of the students did not wear orange shirts?

34/60= 56%
If rounded it would be 57%

The answer is in the picture. First you have to find how many students did not wear an orange shirt, so you subtract 16 from 60. Then you divide the answer by 60 and multiply it by 100 to find the percentage bc a percentage is always out of 100.
