Solution to the 1st equation: x
3x-6y=-12
3(x-2y)=-12
x-2y=-4
→x=2y-4

Solution to the 1st equation: y
3x-6y=-12
3(x-2y)=-12
x-2y=-4
-2y=-4-x
→y=-4-x/2
