A car can be rented for $95 per week plus $0.95 per mile. How many miles can be driven if you have at most $380 to spend for weekly transportation? The car should be driven ....... miles a week?

We have the next inequality

95+0.95x\le380

where x is the number of miles.

Then we solve the inequality

\begin{gathered} 0.95x<380-95 \\ \end{gathered}

\begin{gathered} 0.95x\le285 \\ x\le(285)/(0.95) \\ x\le300 \end{gathered}

The car should be driven 300 miles a week
