Answer:

a) missing exponent is 8

b) missing exponent is -5

c) missing exponent is 15

d) missing exponent is 6

Explanation:

for 'a' and 'b' you have to ADD the exponents

for 'c' you have to SUBTRACT the exponents

for 'd' you have to MULT the exponents

let 'n' = missing exponent

a) -5 + n = 3

n = 8

b) 3 + n = -2

n = -5

c) n - 6 = 9

n = 15

d) 5n = 30

n = 6
