Since the clock face is a circle, the equation is: a = π r^2
a, of course, stands for area, π is pi (3.14159...), and r is radius. So, the equation becomes:

a = π 8^2
a = π 64
a ≈ 201.0619

Your units should be inches squared for area, so the final answer will be approximately 201.0619 inches squared.

Hope this helps!! xx
