A cart moves on a surface when it is pulled by a constant force. The total mass of the cart is 2.0 kg and the accelerometer data show that its

acceleration is 0.4 m/s2. Another trial is done with the same constant force, but the total mass of the cart is changed to 0.5 kg.
What acceleration should the accelerometer read?
A. 0.1 m/s2
B. 0.2 m/s2
C. 0.4 m/s2
D. 0.8 m/s2
E 1.6 m/s2

Answer: I think 0.1

I say that because as you see when it’s 2 kg the acceleration is twice that in tenths. So I’d it’s 5 kg I think it would be .1 aka .10
