If you have 2/6 and4/5 how do you add them and what is the answer

Remember "common demoninators"
It's where you make the denominators the same by multiply both the numerator AND the denominator. Then add them!

Step 1 (Make the denominator same):
2/6 x 5/5 = 10/30
4/5 x 6/6 = 24/30

Step 2 (Add them):
10/30 + 24/30= 34/30

Step 3 (Simplify):
34/30 = 1 4/30 = 1 2/15

The answer would be 1 2/15

2/6 x 5 = 10/30
