remember some laws
(ab)/c=a(b/c)
and

(x^m)/(x^n)=x^(m-n)
so


(-x^5y^7)/(y^3) =(-x^5)( (y^7)/(y^3))=(-x^5)(y^(7-3))=-x^5y^4
