Answer:

A career involves long term goals. You are passionate about a career. You are always looking to forward your education, receiving increased pay raises and increased responsibilities. With a career, you are going to build new skills and learn how to critically think. A career sticks with you forever. A job is replaceable. The people who work those jobs are replaceable. You usually do not have to further your education or skills. They are usually taught on the job without the need for further training or critical thinking.

Explanation:

I have worked jobs, such as fast food, Grocery stores, etc., and now I have a career as a nurse. Skills are continuously learned with a career.

To me a job is just somthing that you do to earn money, it could be working in an office, being a janitor at a school and so on. A career, however, is somthing that you are passionate about and put alot of time and effort into persuing.
