The area of the box would be 1. I got this by using the area formula which is A=a^2 (A=area and a=one side length) this would turn out to be A=a^2=1^2=1. Hope this helps!

area of a square = s x s
area of a square = 1m x 1m
area of a square = 1m(sqr)
