What provides the power to move the cutting blade on a sawmill?

Answer: electrical energy

Explanation:

In old days, the saw was run manually. Nowadays, the saw is connected to motor.

A sawmill is connected to power source from where it draws electricity

The electrical energy is converted to mechanical energy by motor which runs the blade of the sawmill. Then the blade cuts the wood into logs.
