From the triangle, we express the tangent of 60° as:

$\tan 60\degree=(Z)/(7)$

But tan(60°) = √(3), then:

$\begin{gathered} (Z)/(7)=\sqrt[]{3} \\ \Rightarrow Z=7\sqrt[]{3}\text{ ft} \end{gathered}$
