According to the basic definition of probability,

\text{Probability}=\frac{\text{ No. of favorable events}}{\text{ Total no. of events}}

Given that the bin contains total 90 batteries, out of which 24 are duracell.

So the probability that a randomly selected battery is Duracell, is calculated as,

\begin{gathered} P(\text{Duracell)}=\frac{\text{ No. of Duracell Batteries}}{\text{ Total no. of batteries}} \\ P(\text{Duracell)}=(24)/(90) \\ P(\text{Duracell)}\approx0.267 \\ P(\text{Duracell)}\approx26.7\text{ percent} \end{gathered}

Thus, the probability that a randomly selected battery is Duracell, is 26.7% approximately.
