The girl had a lot to do after school, because it was her mother’s birthday. To bake the cake, all she could remember was she needed to preheat the oven to 300 degrees. She had forgotten everything other than that, so she would need to reread the instructions on how to bake a small cake. She wanted to preteach her younger sister how to bake a cake, so that next time her sister would know how to help her. Also, the ice cream had probably melted, so she would need to either refreeze it, or throw it away. Later, she would need to walk into her closet and unhook the hangers. Then she would pick a blue dress and put it on, making sure not to leave it unzipped. She also needed to prepare other foods, like cheese and fruit. She would then take the cake that she had baked and the food and bring it outside. She would put it all next to the big tree in the backyard, and her family would have a picnic for her mother’s birthday.
