find the greatest common denomenator
factor the

w²-16=(w-4)(w+4)
w-4=w-4
w²+11w+28=(w+4)(w+7)

GCD=(w-4)(w+4)(w+7)

multiply by (w-4)(w+4)(w+7) to cancel fractions
