Let's make equation for this problem. Let's say the population of LV is x, then Sacramento will be x+275 since
Sacramento had 275 thousand more residents than Las Vegas. Remember that their total population is 2669, so your equation will be
If you solve this equation, you have x=1197, that is population of LV. So Sacramento is 1472.
