Please explain on a low level for me instead of just giving me the answer.

n(-m)⁻³

remember order of operations and

x^(-m)= (1)/(x^m) so
simplify the exponent first

(-m)^(-3)= (1)/((-m)^3)= (1)/(-m^3)
now multiply by n

(n)/(-m^3)

n=-24
m=2

(-24)/(-2^3)

(-24)/(-8)
3

the result is 3
