Which precedents did the U.S. Constitution establish for other governments? Select all that apply.

a) Government power can be divided into two branches
b) Citizens have basic rights that governments must safeguard
c) Accused people are presumed guilty until proven innocent
d) People cannot be forced to testify against themselves

B and C is my guess but I'm kinda stuck.

The correct options are B -C

B) Citizens have basic rights that governments must protect. The main objective of the government is the defense of the rights of all citizens of the country, without distinction of race, sex, religion, etc.

C) The principles established in the fifth amendment of the Constitution of the United States are fundamental for any person accused of committing a crime. Although there are several provisions of this amendment, the elements that protect a person accused of committing a crime are four: the right against forced self-incrimination; the right to a grand jury; the right not to be tried twice for the same crime (exception of res judicata) and the right to due process.

I believe the answer is:B. citizens have basic rights that government must safeguard, people cannot be forced to testify against themselves

The basic rights that given by the constitution to its citizens prevent the Government from violating the things that should be had by humans in order to make our life valuable.
Example of basic rights: The right to live, the right to be free from torture and degradation, etc.
