X/7 = 3/2 a/6 = 3/10

This is part of my revision for exams, would appreciate someone explaining this to me so I can remember it, thanks.

multiply both sides by 7


`(x)/(7) = (3)/(2) /*7 \\ x= (3*7)/(2) = (21)/(2) \\ x = (21)/(2) = 10.5`


`(a)/(6) = (3)/(10) \\ a = (3*6)/(10) = (18)/(10) =1.8`
