1.Write an equation in slope-intercept form for the line parallel to the red line and going through the point (3,5).

2.Write an equation in slope-intercept form for the line perpendicular to the blue line and going through the point (-4, 0).

Slope line=slope red line (since they are parallel)
Equation: y- y point= slope(x- x point)
Equation: y-5= slope(x-3)
Then you substitute the slope and multiply you'll get the answer

2.
Slope line×slope blue line= - 1 (since they are perpendicular) you substitute to find slope
Equation: y-y point= slope(x - xpoint)
Equation: y-0= slope( x+4)
Substitute and multiply to get the answer
