Where in a eukaryotic cell does the electron transport system operate?

The electron convey chain takes place in the membranes of the mitochondria in eukaryotic cells. Electron convey is the last stage of cell respiration. The chain passes high-energy electrons composed during glycolysis into oxygen-engendering adenosine triphosphate (ATP) for energy.
