How was the constitutional government in england different from the monarchy?

I answered a similar question a few minutes ago so im going to give you the same answer as i did the other guy because i feel like it covers what u need very well

An Absolute monarchy transmits absolute power to the monarch who acts as a directer or head of the state.

A Constitutional monarchy gives limited powers to the monarch ... like the monarch of England for an example.
