Final answer:

The height of the scale drawing is 3.2 inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the height of the scale drawing, we need to use the given scale and the actual height of the building. The scale is 1 inch = 15 feet, and the actual height of the building is 48 feet. We can set up a proportion to solve for the height of the scale drawing:

Scale height / Scale distance = Actual height / Actual distance

Let x represent the height of the scale drawing. Plugging in the values, we get:

x / 1 inch = 48 feet / 15 feet

Cross multiplying, we find:

x = 48 feet * 1 inch / 15 feet

Simplifying the expression, the height of the scale drawing is 3.2 inches.

Do you have any answer choices?
If 1inch=15feet,
then 48 feet can be slit up into 3inches but have 3 feet left over.
So 3.3inches...
