So 30 - 20%= 18

`30%*60`. Remember though, 30% is a percentage out of 100, so really it's equal to
`(30)/(100) = (3)/(10) = 0.3`

Now just multiply that decimal by the 60 chocolates!


`60*0.3=18`

So he gave away 18 chocolates!
