Lana needs 1 1/2 cups more flour to make the fortune cookies. Sara needs 1/3 more cups of water to make Mysore Pak. Josephine quits. How many more materials do they need in all?

They would need 2 2/6 or 2 1/3 cups all together

1/2 + 1 1/2 + 1/3. you need to change them so that they all have a common denominator and that would be 3/6 + 1 3/6 + 2/6. that's gives you 1 8/6 which equals 2 2/6 which in simplest form is 2 1/3
