Determine the number of possible triangles, ABC, that can be formed given A = 30°, a = 14, and b = 24.

Since A is an acute angle, and a is less than b, you would have to find bsinA, which is 12. Since bsinA is less than a, you will be able to form a maximum of two triangles.

Hope this helps! I got this info from a worksheet my teacher gave me a few weeks ago to help us with Ambiguous Triangles.
