\sin \theta=(opposite)/(hypotenuse)

From the figure given, if theta = A

opposite = 28 and hypotenuse =53

substitute the values into the formula


\sin A=(28)/(53)


\cos A=\frac{adjacent}{\text{hypotenuse}}
\cos A=(45)/(53)
\tan \theta=(opposite)/(adjacent)
\tan A=(28)/(45)
