Can someone explain in detail how to do this? What is sin? What is cos?

Sin stands for Sine, and cos stands Cosine. Tan stands for Tangent.
sin 30 = 0.5
cos 30 = (√3)/2
cos 45 = (√2)/2
tan 45 = 1
tan 30 = (√3)/3
Yes, tan 60 = √3
