The answer is: (2x + 1) (x + 3) .

You multiply the leading coefficient which is 2 by 3 which is 6 and then you find factors of 6 that will equal positive 7 which are 6 and 1 so then you will set your equation up like this: 2x^2+6x+1x+3. Then you need to group them which will look like (2x^2+6x)+(1x+3) then factor by grouping which will be 2x(x+3)+1(x+3) then it would look like this: (2x+1)(x+3) so then you would set both equations equal to zero and solve.
